Last Hoorah for Pumpkins!
What screams Fall and Halloween louder than anything?
A PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY! Halloween weekend is coming to an end and after all
the costume parties and bar hopping, wouldn’t it be nice to end it with a
mellower celebration? Just imagine, hanging out you’re your friends in the
backyard around the fire, drinking ciders and hot cocoa (maybe with some rum or
Kahlua), eating pumpkin pies and carving pumpkins. Although pumpkin carving
parties are typically done in the beginning of the Halloween season, I think it
would also be nice to somewhat end it with one. If you hadn’t had the chance to
host or attend one, it’s not too late! If you have, then your pumpkins are
probably already rotting or are already rotten by now from the pumpkin carving
party you attended and Halloween eve hasn’t really come upon us yet so why not
host one yourself? You could always ask your friends to bring their own
pumpkins and carving utensils and you can provide the food, drinks and company!
To make it even better, make it a Halloween-horror-movie-pumpkin-carving-night.
It would be the best time to whip out your projector that’s been collecting
dust in your closet! If you don’t have one, bringing out the TV would also be a
good idea! Have fun with it and carve up some spooky pumpkins to scare your
trick-or-treaters on Halloween eve.
