Anything is Possible with a Little Lipstick and champagne!
If you're on a budget but still want to provide alcohol, an option that you can do is having a build-your-own bubbly bar. I did this for my sister's party and everybody was able to enjoy mimosas, pointsettas and bellinis.
All you need for your bar is three things:
1. Sparkling wine,
2. A variety of juices ( I recommend having orange juice, cranberry juice, and peach nectar to start with but any type of juice would work just as well!),
And last but not the least,
3. Different kinds of fruits like raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries to put into your sparkling wine to add a little extra sparkle to your sparkling drink.
If you want to up your bar game a tad bit, hive them more options by adding some beers, lemons and limes. It's either your guests will just take the nice cold beer and go with it or you can teach them what a BEERmosa is! It's a great way to start convesations and trying to prove people that beer and orange juice together doesn't taste that bad. Decorate to your hearts desire and you'll be all set!
If you're wondering about how I decorated my sister's bubbly bar, I just used an old tin bin as a cooler for the bottles of sparkling wine and/or beer. I used some old water bottles and glass vinegar bottles for the juices too! I also gathered up some branches and leaves to scatter around the bin. The greens gave it a natural feel to the bar. I bought those dollar plastic serving bowls from Wal-Mart for all of the fruits. I also cut up some gift tissue paper and made some tassle garlands (which I will feature in another blog so stay tuned!)
A pro tip for an outdoor bubbly bar, get a mosquito net and drape it over your bar area to give it an extra chic vibe. Don't forget to put a water station for your guests so they could stay hydrated throughout your party too.
I hope my tips helped you. Til the next blog!
